Regulatory Operations is a functional unit that supports Alpiq by carrying out tasks that arise from regulations related to the energy business activities.
This role covers the tasks related to the regulatory affairs – transaction and invoice-based reporting to the European regulators, reporting to the National regulators based on country specific regulations and Market Surveillance of the internal Alpiq trading activity.
 
Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transaction and invoice based reporting under European-wide regulations
  • Responsible for operational part of reporting based on country specific regulations
  • Perform Market Surveillance of internal trading activities
  • Improve reporting processes and identify new reporting obligations
  • Cooperate with other departments (especially with Back office, Compliance, Front office and IT)
  • Document regulatory reporting activities
  • Communicate with internal/external partners around Europe
  • Communicate with regulators, trading venues, and system vendors 

 
Your qualifications:

  • University or BA degree in technical, engineering, business or finance
  • Advanced knowledge with Excel
  • Programming skills are an advantage
  • Experience with reporting and XML format is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn new things and proactive approach
  • Analytical mind and orientation on results
  • Experience with energy business domain is an advantage (suitable also for graduates)
  • Communicative knowledge of English
