The purpose of the position is to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Control System (ICS) and drive continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Liaise with process owners to support the identification of risks within the respective processes and facilitate the design of corresponding controls
  • Conduct regular assessments and coordinate the yearly ICS self-assessment
  • Ensure ICS related improvement measures from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defense are assessed and implemented
  • Fulfill the role of the ICS coordinator acting as a point of contact for the EB and the BoD for ICS related queries, providing guidance for the business division and business unit heads, process and control owners, assessing the ICS and preparing reports on a regular basis to the Executive board, the Board of Directors and respective committees
  • Manage the strategic orientation and operational implementation of the ICS
  • Maintain and enhance the ICS documentation
  • Review the ISC related framework (Directive and Handbook) on a regular basis and keep it up-to-date


Your qualification:


  • Master degree
  • 3+ years experience preferably in the energy industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the ICS
  • Strong experience in business process management
  • Experience in process design and process improvement
  • Advanced knowledge in BPMN 2.0
  • Experience with the BPM Tool Signavio
  • Strong analytical skills, process orientation and detailed oriented
  • Fluent in English and (German, French & Italian are an advantage)
