Key responsibilities

  • Create positive PnL by daily optimisation of power positions across Central, Eastern and South Eastern European markets through performing market analysis and forecasting short term power prices, using in-house models and tools
  • Management of power flows within CESEE region, bidding on day ahead power markets and transmission capacity auctions
  • Performing duties within the PMO Team including participation in a roster involving weekend shifts


Education and experience

  • University degree and background in Mathematics, Science or Technology
  • Basic programming skills (VBA, Python)
  • Basic knowledge of optimization is an advantage
  • Graduates welcome


Skills and knowledge

  • Competency in analytical problem solving
  • Understanding of physical power markets functioning is an advantage
  • Ability to perform under considerable stress induced by fast moving markets and strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent command of English is a must; Eastern European language an advantage
