Accountant with Spanish (in Prague, CZ)

The main focus of the position is to process invoices and bank statements & clearance. The job is more routine nature with the base at  Alpiq Prague office.


Your responsibilities:

  • Processing/posting of incoming and outgoing invoices in line with local legal and group requirements (following the VAT, Accounting rules, Group rules, etc.)
  • G/L operations during month and closing (payroll upload, other GL booking, customs process)
  • Uploading of bank statements and clearings
  • Clearing of open items - vendors/customers 
  • Vendor/customer master data 
  • Communication with local parties (accounting, business, treasury, etc.) 
  • Support and deliver the documents during the audit field works  
  • Support Spanish local team in all ad hoc accounting tasks

 

Your qualification:

  • Secondary or high school education in Economics/Accounting is advantage
  • 1 - 2 years experience in Accounting is a plus 
  • VAT principles knowledge (in general) 
  • Previous experience in SAP is a plus
  • Spanish and English is a must
  • Friendly, open minded and willing to learn new things 
  • Flexible and communicative personality (daily communication in foreign language) 
  • Experience in international environment would be an advantage
