As an Environmental Markets Trader within our Flow & Derivatives Trading Desk, you will play a pivotal role in managing the interest coming from our Origination teams, with a specific focus on our activities in Guarantees of Origins (GoOs) and other Green certificates. This position offers proactive engagement with energy and green markets, providing an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about both the analytical and commercial aspects of trading.
 
Your Responsibilities:

  • Pricing: Utilize available pricing tools and market inputs to price Environmental Certificates
  • Trading Management: Manage trading positions with a primary focus on Green Markets mainly Guarantees of Origin
  • Trading Strategy: Develop and propose trading ideas, expressing market views through trading strategies
  • Collaboration: Engage in projects within Structured Energy Management and contribute to the ongoing business development efforts of the team
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of relevant market developments and trends, providing insights and recommendations to make trading decisions

 
Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Previous experience preferably in environmental certificates, green markets, or energy trading
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and pursue trading opportunities
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly in European languages, are a plus
