If you want to be part of this great project, join us as Senior Software Engineer! You will join to a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will undertake the pivotal task of transforming our current application stack into a robust, cloud-based service on AWS. This transition is crucial, as our application provides essential support for daily business operations. You will face challenging tasks, including designing scalable architectures, migrating existing services to the cloud, and ensuring minimal disruption during the transition.


Your responsibilities:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of our existing application stack to effectively plan and execute the migration of components from to AWS, utilizing Python and serverless technologies.
  • Leveraging next-generation data platform components to fuel the growth of our business, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable and future-proof.
  • Developing and maintaining innovative processes that enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Defining development tasks with precision and serving as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Ensuring comprehensive documentation of all development activities and prioritizing the implementation of automated tests to uphold the highest standards of code quality and reliability.
  • Defining requirements for external developers and providers, focusing on maintenance and new asset onboarding processes.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between various applications and processes, including SCADA, CRM, and other settlement services.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in developing IT solutions, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience working within the energy sector, with a focus on managing and implementing sector-specific solutions that drive business success.
  • In-depth knowledge of the energy industry and its regulations, particularly those governing the energy market's operations, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Extensive expertise in database management, enabling the design and maintenance of robust, high-performance data solutions.
  • Proven experience in IT project management, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects from inception through to successful completion.
  • High level in English (C1).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, always with critical thinking and results orientation.
