Senior Group Controller
At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a Senior Group Controller to strengthen our Controlling team in Olten. The role focuses on the controlling of Corporate functions (General Management, HR, Procurement, Legal, IT, Finance, etc) and is ideal for an experienced controller or auditor with great attention to detail and an assertive nature.
Your main responsibilities
- Finance Business Partner for the management of Corporate functions (General Management, HR, Procurement, Legal, IT, Finance, etc.)
- Performing cost controlling with a strong focus on challenging the status-quo
- Preparing analysis and decision support for the (top) management
- Performing central controlling activities for the Corporate functions (financial statements, standard and ad-hoc reporting, year-end forecasting and budgeting)
- Improving financial products and processes in terms of quality and efficiency
- Sparring partner to the management of Corporate functions in all Finance-related topics
- Working in close collaboration with Management and other Finance functions
Your profile
- University degree in Business Administration with focus on Controlling/Finance or related
- >5 years of professional experience in a controlling function dealing with senior stakeholders
- Eagerness to challenge the status-quo and to deep-dive into Corporate functions and the related processes
- Good knowledge of Excel/MS Office as well as SAP BW and CO is required
- Resilient, flexible and independent personality with a good team spirit and strong presentation skills
- Fluent in English and German
