This newly created role is a great opportunity to become part of Alpiq’s IT organization. The main focus of this position is to optimize our IT licence management, reviewing processes, regulations and tools in all Alpiq companies and across all usage models and platforms, including cloud services. This exciting and multi-faceted role is ideal for somebody with a good IT background combined with a continuous improvement mindset and strong strategic thinking. The role is based at our offices in Olten, Switzerland 

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining an IT license management model, which ensures transparency, avoidance of over-/under-licensing and optimal integration in processes of procurement and change management projects
  • Ensuring that license T&C are not violated, conducting internal software compliance audits and supporting external auditors with internal reviews, close collaboration with legal department in investigating and resolving potential compliance issues
  • Operational procurement of software licenses and optimization of existing license agreements, in close collaboration with Alpiq’s purchasing department 
  • Raising awareness among stakeholders on compliance with license conditions
  • Ongoing market monitoring on license management issues 

 

Your qualifications

  • Higher education in a relevant field 
  • Solid software and IT know-how, especially in the area of licensing models and software asset and contract management
  • Knowledge of Software-NPS, TCO & Adoption
  • Good business acumen and strategic thinking 
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to work efficiently with a multitude of different internal and external stakeholders
