Head IT Group Services (f/m/d), 80-100%

Alpiq's corporate IT is set up in a business-domain focused approach. As the head of IT Group Services, you are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of services for the business functions such as Finance, Legal, HR and procurement relating to group services. In this role, you cover planning, building and running of the application landscape related to group services. You are responsible for interacting and aligning with the respective business functions on their business requirements and translating these into concrete requirements towards the application landscape. To ensure end-to-end delivery, you closely align with the other IT heads of business domains. In addition, you closely cooperate with the heads of IT project and program delivery as well as IT Operations to ensure that the standards and processes for project and program delivery as well as IT operations are applied. This role reports directly to Alpiq's CTTO/CIO. 

Your main responsibilities

• Own the plan, build and run processes and activities for the business domain group services, including ERP/SAP and beyond 
• Closely align with business units regarding strategy and requirements in group services 
• Align group services domain activities with other overarching activities on IT side (e.g., data & analytics, infrastructure services) and represent group services in the overarching strategy, architecture and portfolio processes 
• Ensure reliable application support and successful further development/optimization of the IT application for the business domain group services 
• Own the IT operations of the systems for the business domain group services 
• Drive for application rationalization within group services, cost effective use of enterprise application assets 
• ERP Finance/HR, … performance management KPIs on NPS, User Adoption, Value to the business 
• Tool futuring and surveillance to ensure no obsolescence of group services technology roadmap 
• Collaboration with data owners, licensing, cyber security and architecture teams 

Your qualifications

• Min. 5 years of professional and hands-on experience in IT services for supporting business functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement) 
• In-depth understanding of the business domain (group services) to enable discussions on eye level with business partners 
• In-depth knowledge of and min. 5 years of project / program experience for operating and developing an ERP SAP platform with the modules FI, BW and SuccessFactors 
• Experience of IT management processes across operations, change and delivery 
• Proven track record in demand coordination and implementation 
• Excellent communicator and outstanding skills for driving agreement and alignment 
• Min. 5 years of experience in leading and motivating successful team 
• Results-oriented approach with a strong history of delivery (on-time, to-quality and in-budget)
• Excellent ability in presenting/communicating to CxO level and associating influencing experience to convince peer leaders 
• Proven performance history in project and program coordination in a context of complex setup
