Energy IT Graduate Program (all)

Are you a recent graduate ready to start your career at the heart of the energy transition? Look no further! 

We are excited to offer an Energy IT Graduate Program designed to help young talent explore the dynamic energy sector. Over the course of 18 months, you will rotate through 3 key areas within our IT domain, including IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure Services, IT Energy Management, IT Sales & Operations, Data & Analytics, and IT Trading. Your journey will start in October 2025. Alpiq's portfolio includes flexible hydroelectric and thermal power stations as well as new renewable energy facilities. We are committed to leading the energy transition and meeting the challenges it brings. IT plays a key role in supporting our strategic vision and guiding us through the complexities of the ongoing energy transition. 

Deine Aufgaben

• 3 rotations: You will rotate through 3 key assignments to gain hands-on experience in different IT departments. The program is designed to give you broad exposure to our IT businesses. 

• Mentorship & Buddy Support: A dedicated mentor from the management team will guide and coach you throughout your 18-month journey. In addition, a buddy from our growing network of young talent will provide hands-on support & help you integrate smoothly into the team. 

• Real impact: In each rotation, you will contribute to daily IT operations, support continuous improvement and participate in high-impact projects. 

Dein Profil

• Swiss or EU passport (unfortunately we cannot sponsor non-EU Visas for this role). 

• Master's degree in computer science, information technology, Software engineering, data science or similar 

• Graduate by the program start date (October 2025). 

• A strong passion for the energy sector and a desire to expand your knowledge. 

• International mindset, excellent communication skills, analytical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. 

• Determination, resilience, and team spirit will make you succeed in this role. 

• Being empathetic, results-oriented, and flexible are your additional assets. 

• Availability to work in Olten or Lausanne (Hybrid). 

• Full proficiency in English, additional languages (French, German, others) are an energy plus.
