At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a Controller to strengthen our Controlling team in Olten. This position plays a key role in ensuring the financial support for our Group Center functions in the complex energy business. The role is ideal for somebody who already had first experiences in either Controlling or Audit functions with great attention to detail and an analytical mind who is willing to learn all aspects of the Group Center controlling. 


Your main responsibilities

  • Participating in core Controlling processes such as Closing, Reporting and Planning
  • Preparing standard and ad-hoc reports, providing analysis and comments on cost developments 
  • Calculating and charging IT running and project costs as well as Group Center costs
  • Working in close collaboration with Management and other Finance functions
  • Defining and implementing new KPIs, methods and products requested by the Management and participating in projects
  • Driving continuous improvement, standardization and digitalisation of IT related finance products, processes, and tools


Your qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration with focus on Controlling/Finance or related
  • >2 years of professional experience in a finance function
  • Eagerness to learn technical skills as well as Controlling know-how
  • Good knowledge of Excel/MS Office is required; experience in SAP CO, BW and Power BI is an advantage
  • Resilient, flexible and independent personality with a good team spirit
  • Proficient in English and German, French as an advantage
