As our Cloud Technology Lead you will have a senior role with the responsibility for defining, implementing, and overseeing our cloud strategy, as well as all technical aspects of our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) within our organization. You will work closely with our Cloud Center of Excellence Lead. This role demands from you a  deep technical expertise and collaboration with Business Application and IT Infrastructure leaders to drive cloud adoption, application modernization, and best practices for cloud optimization and governance.

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Cloud Strategy Implementation: Establish and implement the cloud strategy that integrates with and accelerates the company’s business strategy.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on cloud-native architectures, containerization strategies, serverless computing, and best practices for cloud adoption and optimization.
  • Cloud Governance: Design and implement comprehensive cloud governance models addressing security, compliance, cost management, and resource optimization to support agile development practices while maintaining control and visibility.
  • Modernization Initiatives: In collaboration with application and infrastructure leaders define initiatives for the modernization and migration of legacy systems to cloud environments. Provide expert guidance on cloud-native architectures, containerization strategies, and serverless computing to optimize application performance and scalability. 
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with cloud computing trends, technologies, and best practices. Promote the adoption of innovative cloud solutions that drive competitive advantage and operational excellence.
  • Technical Education: Lead the creation of educational programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate the technical teams’ cloud maturity.
  • Culture of Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring teams are proficient in the latest cloud technologies and methodologies.
  • KPI Development: Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive set of KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the cloud strategy from a technical perspective.
  • Security Collaboration: Work closely with security architects and experts to embed best practices and controls into every aspect of the cloud environment.


Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud computing strategies, application modernization, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing cloud strategies in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and application modernization techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in vendor and stakeholder management within a cloud computing context.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
  • A general understanding of the trading and/or energy sectors will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in English, German and French as an advantage
