If you want to be part of this great project, join us as Sales Originator! You will join to a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will consist on the development of the PPA sales business with electricity supply and, secondarily, gas supply, as well as the sale of GdOs with large consumers as customers, being responsible for all commercial management.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Generation of physical and financial PPA sales opportunities with large consumers and secondarily in gas supply.
  • Identify and develop opportunities in the Iberian energy market with potential PPA buyers, creating a good external and internal client base and expanding the existing client and counterparty base.
  • Comprehensive management of assigned clients according to commercial organization.
  • Ability to generate and negotiate opportunities in Wholesale Business and in decarbonization projects.
  • Interaction with other internal Business Areas in the Alpiq Group, essential for the development and management of supply contracts and collaboration agreements.
  • Leading the development of the Business Case in collaboration with internal stakeholders (SEM, Credit Risk, Risk Management, Asset Trading, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations and IT) and fostering the network of commercial relationships in Spain and Portugal.              
  • Generating opportunities for GoO sales to monetize the Origination Business GoO portfolio in cooperation with SEM and the Origination team.
  • Reporting on commercial activity.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and systems to improve the Commercialization Business and collaborate in internal projects related to the Sales & Origination business.

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience performing similar functions.
  • Experience and good knowledge of energy markets: electricity, gas, wholesale and origination.
  • Demonstrable network with clients in the energy sector with focus on large consumers.
  • Experience in buying and selling physical and financial PPAs.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office package.
  • Experience in Supply Market in Portugal will be highly valued.
  • High level in English (C1).
