In Spain, we offer the possibility to join an exciting developing project in an international environment, focused on energy production in thermal and renewable installations, electricity and gas trading, and risk management solutions for customers and producers.

The successful candidate will join as RES Originator in an international environment, focused on electricity and gas trading, energy production in thermal and renewable installations and risk management solutions for customers and producers.

The main duties will consist of:

• Identify and develop opportunities in the Iberian energy market with RES producers, cogeneration plants and potential PPA buyers, creating a good external and internal customer base and expanding the existing customer base.
• Assume responsibility for the pricing of market access services for RES producers, proposals of terms and conditions and negotiation of contracts in coordination with the parties involved (Asset Trading, Legal, Operations, Finance and IT).
• Prospecting, negotiation, and execution of PPA purchase contracts with RES producers. Lead the development of the Business Case in collaboration with internal stakeholders (SEM, Credit Risk, Risk Management, Asset Trading, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations and IT) and foster the network of Origination relationships in Spain and Portugal.    
• Origination of GoOs transactions with RES producers and other players monetising the GoOs portfolio of the business in cooperation with SEM.     
• Control, monitor and report on the performance of the existing portfolio of PPAs and third-party assets, as well as monitor regulatory changes affecting the Origination business.                           
• Participate in the international RES Origination team as well as in internal projects related to the Origination business.                                     

What are we looking for on a successful candidate?

• At least 5 years of experience in the tasks described.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish electricity market, as well as extensive experience in negotiating contracts and agreements.
• High level of English.
• Excellent social skills, resolution, results orientation, proactivity and teamwork mentality.
