If you want to be part of this great project, join us as Control Centre Technician! You will join to a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will consist on real-time operational monitoring of the renewable generation plants under Alpiq's portfolio, as well as providing support for the different qualification tests for the participation of the facilities in the different adjustment services.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of the correct sending of signals between Red Eléctrica and the Control Centre and installations.
  • Process of onboarding, offboarding and enabling of facilities in adjustment services.
  • Support in the implementation of regulatory developments with an impact on the control centre or SCADA.
  • Management of incidents related to the control centre service.
  • Interlocution with OMIE/REE/customers, as well as with the SCADA provider.
  • Support to asset traders in relation to control centre activity.

Your profile:

  • Degree in computer scienceor technical profile.
  • Experience in control centre.
  • It would be a worth plus if the successful candidate has knowledge of communications protocol, knowledge of SCADA and AGC, preferably; and knowledge of the different electricity markets, OMIE and REE.
  • Medium- high level in English (B2).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, team-player, well-organised, proactive to give new ideas, but always with critical thinking and results orientation.
