You will join to a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will be key to the proper management of the Company's accounting administration, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Your responsibilities:
- Management of the Company's general accounting, both in Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
- Reporting to Alpiq Group.
- Development and implementation of internal administrative and accounting procedures.
- Management of customer and supplier accounts.
- Management of the tax area.
- Treasury management (management and reconciliation of bank accounts, compliance and control of treasury policies, monitoring and control of treasury and treasury forecasting).
- Performing the monthly/annual closing of accounts and drawing up and formalizing the official books.
- Management and motivation of the team under his/her responsibility.
- Management of auditing processes.
Your profile:
- Degree in Economics or Business Administration and Management or similar.
- At least 5 years in a similar position in an international company, preferably in a group of companies and within the energy sector.
- Experience in a matrix organisation.
- Experience in team management.
- Accounting knowledge of both IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
- Extensive experience with SAP and Excel.
- Knowledge of taxation.
- It would be nice-to-have knowledge of financial analysis and experience in auditing, preferably in Big Four.
- High level in English (C1).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, always with critical thinking and results orientation.
