OT Security Manager (f/m/d)

At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a new OT Security Manager to strengthen our Generation IT & OT team. The OT Security Manager is responsible for all aspect related to the OT security that would have some of the management, technology and management qualities described below. This includes the governance of OT at all Alpiq Power Plants across all countries. The OT Security Manager will integrate the OT Security Group composed of others OT Security Managers to cover the about eighty power plants in Alpiq. Seeing security in a proactive and preventive way and a mindset to address issues before the occur instead of in a defensive way is a key attitude which is required in this role. Please be aware that this is an individual contributor role.
Your main responsibilities and objectives will be:
- Collaborative spirit with business leaders, asset managers, system engineers and power plant operators with a win-win approach to gap closure
- Within the OT Security Group review and optimize the OT security landscape of Alpiq to a state-of the art.- security organization needed for an Energy company
- Define, validate, and periodically review the OT security policy and environment’s specific OT security concepts
- Enforce complete implementation of OT security policy in all OT environments
- Supervise the organization, organize, and lead OT Security Boards for the different OT environments
- Ensure that the OT security concepts are applied, through the OTSBs, pentests and assessments
- Educate internal stakeholders on security threat landscape in all Alpiq countries
- Effective and efficient closure and remediation of open security audit findings and concerns with clear expectation communication for the involved stakeholders
- Find out and inform about the main threats concerning the OT environments
- Suggest new measures, processes, or applications to improve the OT security
Candidate Profile:
- Technical education at FH/University level, preferably in the field of Information Technology
- Accredited education in Cyber Security
- Sound knowledge of relevant security standards (ISO, NIST, BSI)
- Detailed knowledge of IT and OT technology (SCADA)
- Experience with cyber security prevention, detection and response techniques
- Knowledge of all relevant aspects of the integral security
- Experience in emergency and crisis management
- English fluent
- Good presentation and communications skills (English, French or German)
- Knows the energy industry and the interrelationships in the area of power generation are highly valued
- Able to work under pressure and to make rational decision
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate information security concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
- Availability to travel
