Do you hold a Master’s degree or a university of applied sciences (HES) diploma in electrical energy? We are offering you the opportunity to join the dispatch centre as an Operations Engineer – Dispatcher (all).
A strategic role at the heart of the Swiss energy system
After comprehensive training, you will take on the supervision and control of hydroelectric facilities and participate in real-time management of the electricity grid. This position offers a gateway into a central role in energy operations, with real responsibilities from the very start of your career. As part of the 24/7 operations team, you will work a rotating 3x8 shift schedule to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Your main responsibilities
- Implement production plans for hydroelectric plants in accordance with technical, weather, and grid constraints
- Work directly with Swissgrid and other partners to ensure grid stability (frequency, voltage, etc.)
- Respond to unforeseen events and contribute to the continuity of the country's energy supply
- Monitor advanced technological tools (SCADA, EDM)
- Develop your coordination, decision-making, and real-time operational skills
Your profile
- A HES diploma or Master’s degree in electrical energy (or in the process of obtaining one)
- Strong motivation to learn
- An interest in responsibility, precision, and critical systems
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of German and English
- Availability to work rotating shifts (3x8)
