Mission
As a Business Risk Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organisation.
You ensure that risks are identified, assessed and actively managed working closely with business stakeholders and the Head of ERM.
Acting as a key interface between the first line of defense and the ERM function, you will contribute to risk identification, assessment and documentation, while ensuring the reliability and consistency of risk data within the GRC tool.

Your main responsibilities
As Business Risk Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and strengthening Alpiq’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the development and operationalization of the ERM framework across business units, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and facilitate Risk and Control processes with business stakeholders, acting as both a partner and an independent challenger.
- Identify, assess and document risks and controls.
- Consolidate and validate risk data and reporting, including incidents, KRIs and action plans to support risk monitoring and informed decision making.
- Maintain and update the risk register within the GRC tool, ensuring accurate and timely capture of risks, controls, incidents and action plans/mitigation measure.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk methodologies, tools and risk reporting.

Your profile
As a Business Risk Manager within ERM, you will play a central role in strengthening the Group’s risk framewrok across its business activities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will combine independent challenge with a pragmatic understanding of business constraints to enhance risk transparency and support informed and sustainable decision-making.
You bring:
- At least 5 years in risk management, ideally within energy, trading or financial services
- Strong understanding of ERM farmeworks and operational risks
- Experience working with GRC tools and risk reporting processes
- The ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders, challenge constructively and translate risk into actionable insights
- An analytical and structured approach, combined with a pragmatic mindset
- Flurency in English, additional languages (German and/or French) are an asset.
