Tipps for your cover letter and CV

You don’t get a second chance at a first impression. Read these tips to optimise your application dossier and impress us.

Cover letter

With your cover letter, you give us a first impression of your personality and your motivation for joining us and show us why you are the right person for the position. Lead us through your professional and academic achievements and outline how you meet the job requirements. Your cover letter should also state when you would be able to take up the position and should not exceed one page.

Curriculum vitae

We appreciate being able to see what is important at first glance: your relevant professional experience, your training and your technical expertise. Hence, ensure your CV is precise, uncluttered and concise. It should not be too long. We recommend a maximum of 3 pages.

Your CV should comprise the following:

  • Contact information and personal details
  • Job experience including your areas of responsibility and competencies as well as any budget responsibility and management experience
  • Education and additional qualifications (academic and professional)
  • Relevant skills and know-how
  • Personal interests (optional)
  • References from previous employers, instructors or professors (optional)
